British Deputy High Commissioner Caroline Rowett calls on Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. CM urged her to take up the issue of starting direct flights to  between London and Chandigarh with the British High Commissioner to India. The Chief Minister also seeks technology transfer/expertise from the UK to effectively handle crucial issues of straw burning and biomass management.
